The 2022 edition of the International Conference on Graphics and Interaction – ICGI’2022 – will be held on November 3 and 4, 2022 at the University of Aveiro (UA), as a joint organization between the Department of Electronics, Telecommunications, and Informatics (DETI), the Department of Communications and Art (DeCA) and the Eurographics Portuguese Chapter (GPCG). The conference is expected to occur as an in-person event, but will be prepared to allow remote participation if necessary due to sanitary conditions.
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to submit contributions to ICGI 2022 and attend the event. The Scientific Program will include presentations of long and short papers, invited plenary presentations and a poster session.
Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts reporting scientific work, experiments, or applications to the conference. The official languages of the conference are English and Portuguese. Information regarding paper submission can be found in https://gpcg.pt/icgi2022/paper-submission/.
In addition to the usual conference track of full papers, short papers, and posters, this year we will have presentations of papers accepted in the special section of the Computers & Graphics journal. This special section has its own call for papers, which can be found in https://gpcg.pt/icgi2022/cag-ss-ragi/.
Accepted conference papers will appear in the ICGI 2022 digital proceedings (book with ISBN). Similar to previous ICGI editions, the necessary procedures for the provision of long papers in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library are being developed.
After the event, some of the best conference papers will be selected and their authors invited to submit extended and significantly revised versions to the International Journal of Creative Interfaces and Computer Graphics (IJCICG).
Submitted manuscripts should address original research in all areas related to Computer Graphics and Interaction, including, but not limited to:
- Computer Games
- Computer Graphics Algorithms
