Sintra is a charming village in Portugal, the seat of the municipality of Sintra, the second most populous of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Classified as UNESCO Cultural Heritage: Natural Landscape of Sintra (Paisagem Natural de Sintra), in 1995, Sintra is known for its historic palaces, stunning scenery and rich cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Points of interest include the Pena Palace, a colorful dreamlike castle with panoramic views, and the mysterious Quinta da Regaleira, where secret tunnels and enchanting gardens await. The medieval charm of Sintra\u2019s Historic Center, and the local flavours as the Queijadas de Sintra <\/em>and wine from the Colares <\/em>region make Sintra a wonderful place to visit. Olga Cadaval Cultural Center<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The conference venue will be at Olga Cadaval Cultural Center<\/a>, a building constructed in 1945 to serve as a cinema which was part of the daily life and social and cultural life of Sintra for 40 years. In 1987, it was acquired by the City Council, which recognized the value and representativeness of the building, rehabilitating it and promoting culture in Sintra through various cultural events. The building thus encompasses a set of rooms, support areas and technical spaces of great technical and functional quality. The entire complex is structured around two main rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The venue will have 10 <\/strong>parking spaces reserved for the conference.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

By Air:<\/strong> The nearest major airport to Sintra is Aeroporto Humberto Delgado \u2013 Lisbon\u2019s international airport, approximately 30 kilometers away. From the airport, visitors can rent a car, take a taxi or go to the nearby Oriente Station and choose to take a train to Sintra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By Road:<\/strong> For those traveling by car, Sintra is accessible via some main highways, including the A5 and IC19 if you are travelling from Lisbon. IC19 is the fastest route, connecting Lisbon to Sintra directly. Alternatively, take the A5 (Cascais highway), then exit onto the A16 toward Sintra. If you are travelling from Porto or Algarve (where there are the other two main airports on the North and South of the country, use the A1 (from Porto) or A2 (from the Algarve) to reach Lisbon first, then follow the IC19 to Sintra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By Rail:<\/strong> Sintra is well-connected to Lisbon by train, making it one of the easiest and most scenic ways to get there. From Lisbon, you can take a local train to Sintra from Oriente station (near the airport) or from Rossio station (very famous among tourists) with destination of Sintra Station. Some useful information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
