ICGI 2026 · Social Event

Discover Viana do Castelo

Beyond the scientific programme, ICGI 2026 invites participants to discover the history, landscapes and character of Viana do Castelo through a special city experience.

The ICGI 2026 social programme will include a city tour of Viana do Castelo, combining a visit to the iconic Monte de Santa Luzia with a guided walk through the historic centre of the city.

It will be an opportunity to step away from the conference sessions, enjoy some of Viana do Castelo’s most distinctive landmarks and spend time with fellow participants in an informal setting.
